About
Rebecca Moore

Hi there, and welcome. If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re carrying something heavy - maybe something you’ve been holding for a long time. You might feel stuck, exhausted by the same cycles of worry, sadness, self-doubt, or relationship struggles that keep playing on repeat. You’ve tried to push through, maybe even sought support before, but those patterns just keep resurfacing. I want you to know that you’re not alone - and that real, lasting change is possible.

My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I draw from several therapeutic traditions to meet you where you are. At the heart of my work is a foundation in psychodynamic psychotherapy.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful vehicle for healing. In our work together, I aim to create a space where you feel truly seen, accepted, and supported, especially in the places where you might feel most vulnerable or ashamed. We’ll work collaboratively to build trust, and I’ll tailor our work to your unique personality, values, and goals. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I don’t believe in forcing people into a rigid model of healing. You’re a whole person, not just a set of symptoms, and your story matters.

Maybe you find yourself living life on autopilot—going through the motions, doing all the things, but feeling disconnected from your inner world. Or maybe your mind is constantly racing, caught in loops of overthinking, perfectionism, or harsh self-criticism. It’s incredibly common, especially for people who are driven and reflective, to get stuck in patterns like these. And while it can feel hopeless at times, I want you to know that there is another way.

I work with people who are facing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges - depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues or simply feeling like they’ve lost touch with who they are. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, insightful, and often high-functioning on the outside—but inside, they may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like they’re constantly falling short, no matter how much they do. If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

While symptom relief—feeling better in the short term—is an important part of the process, my work goes deeper than that. I help people understand where their struggles come from, how their past experiences might still be shaping their present, and what internal patterns may be getting in the way of connection, fulfillment, or peace. This kind of insight can be a powerful foundation for change. When we can trace our symptoms back to their roots, we not only begin to feel better—we build the kind of awareness and emotional resilience that helps us grow beyond the same old loops.

What if you could wake up feeling grounded, clear, and connected—to yourself, your purpose, and the people around you? What if the negative chatter in your mind softened, and you began to trust your inner voice again? My goal is to help you reconnect to the parts of yourself that have been buried under stress, shame, or survival mode—the parts of you that are capable of joy, creativity, love, and resilience.

I also bring humor, warmth, and authenticity into the room. Therapy can be deep, and sometimes painful—but it can also be a place of laughter, relief, and discovery. I believe in celebrating the parts of you that are strong, creative, and wise—not just focusing on the parts that are hurting. There is so much more to you than the worst thing that’s ever happened to you, and I want our work together to reflect that.

Over the years, I’ve developed strong clinical experience in areas including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also work well with people who are navigating identity questions, perfectionism, burnout, or a general sense that something is missing. The people I work best with tend to be sincere seekers—open to self-reflection and curious about their inner world, even when it feels a bit scary.

And while therapy is a place for insight, it’s also a place for action. I want the work we do together to translate into meaningful changes in your day-to-day life. That might mean practicing new relational boundaries, building tools to manage stress, or learning how to sit with difficult emotions without being consumed by them. Change doesn’t always happen overnight, but with commitment and support, it does happen. And when it does, it can be truly life-changing.

If you're feeling hesitant about getting started, that’s completely normal. Beginning therapy—or beginning again—takes courage. Whether you've never been to therapy before or you've tried it in the past and didn’t find the right fit, I invite you to reach out. The first step is often the hardest, but it’s also a powerful one.

If you're ready to explore the patterns that have been holding you back and begin the journey toward a more connected, fulfilling life, I’m here—and I’d be honored to walk beside you every step of the way. Let’s get started.
